"Believing" is Seeing(百聞は一見に「如く」)
"Believing" is seeing are frequently correct. In Japan, (normal) experience and life (experience) are placed too much emphasis. For example, many people descriminate young persons because of young persons' lack of life. Businesses also usually don't have any starategies, seeing only fields.
Seeing only fields may not make any benefits for any peaple. Placing too much emphasis on life is used for protecting conservativists' interests.
Having no view make it unpossible to understand anything when one see something. One heving no view cannot understand anything regardless of times he see something. One having a view can understand something no matter he listens a story only once.
An experience with a view doesn't mean better than other knowledges. Some conservativists may insist like "Concerning its contents, we agree that an experience isn't better than other knowledges. But a story based on an experience can communicate with the audience vividly, so we and you should use not other knowledges but an experience". If an experience has vividness, relying the vividness means agitation on the audience because of the lack of superiority in its contents.
Conservativists often command social weakness "Experience something first of all to justify it" and the something is what the social weakness dislike. It put the cart before the horse because the social weakness is compelled something they dislike.
Non-rationality culture in Japan is a reason of this prejudice. Without supports from foreign countries like certifying Japanese young persons, this culture cannot change because many Japanese loves this prejudice.

現場主義については経験偏重の利益を受ける人がいるかすらわかりませんが、人生経験偏重は保守主義者の利権の防衛に使われます。
何らかのものを見るときに、何かを見ようとしていないことには、何も理解することはできません。一見どころか百見しても何も理解できません。何らかのものの見方を予めもっているなり与えられるなりすれば、百聞どころか一聞でも何かを理解することができます。
また、何らかの見方を持って何かを経験しても、それが経験以外の知識に勝っているとは限りません。保守主義者は「内容としては経験に長所がないと認めるが、経験を話せば聞き手に鮮明に伝わる」などと言うかもしれませんが、仮にそうであっても、経験による話の内容に長所がない以上、それでは鮮明さによって聞き手を扇動しているということになります。
保守主義者は「まずは経験しろ」と、弱者が嫌がっていることの経験を強要することがあります。経験をさせてしまうのですから、保守主義者が言っていることは本末転倒です。
日本文化は理の文化ではないことが、経験偏重の原因としてあります。多くの日本人は経験や人生偏重に賛成しているので、若者へのお墨付きを与えてもらうなどの海外から支援してもらわないことには、この文化を変えることはできないでしょう。
